This policy covers the Already So app on the App Store and on Google Play. We keep it plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, email support.
Already So has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, your email, or anything else about you. Everything you create in the app, your wish, your scene, your phrase, your practice history and your notes, stays on your own device. The only thing that leaves it is the fact that you hold a subscription, if you buy one. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.
Your practice content and progress are stored locally on your phone. That includes your wish, the self you are stepping into, your scene and phrase, your streak and days practiced, your evidence notes, and your settings. None of it is sent to us. We cannot read it, and we could not produce it if asked. You can clear all of it at any time from Settings in the app, or by deleting the app.
One outgoing request, carrying nothing about you. About once a day the app asks this website for a small public file listing the current version number, so it can offer you an update when yours is out of date. The request sends no identifier and nothing you have written; the file it reads is the same one everybody gets. Like any web request it reaches our host, Netlify, with your device's IP address, which Netlify discards on its normal schedule. We keep no record of it and cannot tell that any particular device asked.
Because there is no account, the subscription record is not linked to your identity. We cannot tell who you are from it.
Only to make membership work: to know whether to unlock the parts of the app that membership includes. Never for advertising, never for profiling, and never sold or rented to anyone.
Nobody, beyond what a purchase requires. Apple or Google handles the payment, and RevenueCat manages the subscription record on our behalf as a service provider. That is the entire list.
What is on your device stays there until you clear it or delete the app. The subscription record is kept while the subscription exists and for a reasonable period after, for accounting and support.
You can remove everything held on your device yourself, from Settings inside the app or by deleting the app. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings or your Google Play account settings. If you want us to show or delete anything we hold, email support and we will. Depending on where you live you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California privacy laws, and we honor those.
Already So is for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the threshold). Since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing of a child's for us to hold, but if you have a concern, contact us.
As the app grows we may update this policy. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
